PRESQUE ISLE – Maine Centers for Women, Work, and Community is proud to welcome Erica Quin-Easter to the Aroostook County office as the microenterprise coordinator for the Aroostook region.

Having grown up in western Massachusetts, Quin-Easter has worked with a number of Maine organizations to develop resources, increase financial stability, strengthen capacity, and build sustainability, and she looks forward to working with Aroostook County entrepreneurs to start and develop their businesses.
“Erica’s experience in the non-profit sector translates well into support of start-up entrepreneurs,” said Gilda Nardone, executive director. “She knows how to set financial goals and manage budgets and she is familiar with marketing and promotion. We’re delighted to have someone of her energy and talents join our team in Aroostook County.”
“Women, Work and Community is pleased to have Erica aboard to provide training to those interested in starting or growing their own business throughout the county,” said Suzanne Senechal-Jandreau, regional manager.
Prior to her hire at Women, Work, and Community, Quin-Easter served as the membership director at Maine Audubon, development director at the Center for Cultural Exchange, development director at Equality Maine, and operations manager/instructor at Flying Changes Center for Therapeutic Riding.
Quin-Easter is a graduate of the New Girls Network at the Maine Women’s Fund, and has volunteered in various capacities with organizations including the Equity Fund at Maine Community Foundation, the Chrysalis Youth Action Fund at Maine Initiatives, MaineShare, and other statewide social change funders.
She has a master’s degree from the University of Southern Maine.
“I’ve lived in Maine since 1999,” said Quin-Easter, “and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with a great organization in the region I love.”
    She will reside in Stockholm.
