    HOULTON – The following case was heard by the Aroostook County Superior Court in Houlton during the month of July, 2009.
    Marshall Benn, 29, of Hammond Twp: theft by unauthorized taking or transfer (four counts), dismissed (first and second), 180 days in jail, all suspended, one year probation, $7,271.67 restitution and 50 hours’ community service (third and fourth.)
 The following cases were heard in the Aroostook Superior Court in Houlton during the month of August, 2009.
    Mitchell Currie, 20, Hodgdon: criminal trespass, 364 days in jail, all but 48 hours suspended, one year probation and $5,000 restitution; and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, dismissed.
    Joseph Degenhardt, 19, Houlton: unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine, 364 days in jail, all but 60 days suspended and one year probation; and violating condition of release, dismissed.
    Donald W. Flanders, 50, Houlton: unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, dismissed; and unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine, 364 days in jail, all suspended and one year probation.
    Kirk E. Gould, 42, Sherman: gross sexual assault (two counts), $25 fine, 25 years in prison, all but 12 years suspended and four years’ probation (first) and 10 years in prison (second).
    Marvin Hayes, 61, Monticello: assault, dismissed.
    Francis J. Kirlin, 57, Houlton: terrorizing, dismissed.
    Jeffrey A. Ladd, 33, Medway: theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, dismissed.
    Joshua E. Lake, 20, Sherman Station: theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, dismissed.
    Rachel L. Murphy, 27, Houlton: operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine; and failing to stop for officer, dismissed.
    Marcel J. Pellerin, 42, Grand-Dique, Que.: illegal importation of scheduled drugs (two counts) and criminal forfeiture of property, all dismissed; and unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $1,000 fine.
    Carol A. Polchies, 47, Houlton: trafficking in prison contraband, 30 months in prison, all but six months suspended and two years’ probation.
    Stephanie Roy, 30, Pepitirocher, Que.: illegal importation of scheduled drugs, dismissed.
    Eric S. Tweedie, 45, Houlton: domestic violence assault, three years in prison, all but nine months suspended and one year probation; and violating condition of release (two counts), dismissed (first) and 30 days in jail (second).
    Joshua Wenzloff, 29, Island Falls: unlawful furnishing of scheduled drug, $400 fine, two years in prison, all but 30 days suspended and two years’ probation.
    Brenda L. Wilkins, 23, Caribou: trafficking in prison contraband, two years in prison.
