Employee of the month

    Judi Howard, left, is presented with a certificate by Hodgdon High School principal Clark Rafford for being named the January’s Employee of the Month. Howard is a math teacher at Hodgdon High School. She is one of the junior  class advisors; plays the trumpet in the school band, as well as McGill’s band throughout the summer; and raises alpacas and has students go to the farm on field trips to see what it takes to raise them. “Judi is a great asset to our school,” Rafford said. “Her students enjoy her math classes. One student stated that Mrs. Howard really helps me understand my math work. She has a great personality and always has a kind word for everyone she encounters. I really appreciate what she does for our school.”
