Dads
Today I looked upon a man,
Who jumped a hopscotch or a rope.
Who proudly took his daughter’s hand
And filled her life and peace and hope.
Today I looked upon a man,
Who jumped a hopscotch or a rope.
Who proudly took his daughter’s hand
And filled her life and peace and hope.
Today I looked upon a man,
With shoulders broad and sparkling eyes.
Enjoying playing on the sand
With little ones not half his size.
With shoulders broad and sparkling eyes.
Enjoying playing on the sand
With little ones not half his size.
Today I looked upon a man
Whose heart is filled with God’s great love.
Who leads his family as best he can,
To an everlasting home above.
Today’s the day to look upon
The joys we share, the times we’ve had.
Today’s the day to hug that one,
Who makes it possible, our dad.
