The Castle Hill Grange Hall Preservation Society will hold a bean supper Saturday, Aug. 30. Tickets in advance are $6 for adults and $3 for children under 10. Tickets at the door will go for $7 for adults and $4 for children.
They are also thinking of having karaoke later this summer along with a food sale. All of the society’s fund-raisers just keep the hall operating. They would like you to please give them an hour of your time once a month to help keep the building operating.

THE JULY FOURTH HOLIDAY WEEKEND marked Squapan Lake’s third annual Fun Fest celebration. Camp owners and their families enjoyed a visit by Forest Ranger Steve Wipperman and Smokey Bear, games for the children including a slip-and-slide, bounce house, and the popular toy hunt in a pile of sawdust. Here, the younger children take their turn looking for prizes in the toy hunt.
