Caribou Little League results played through June 9.
Woodland Tigers 8, Woodland Eagles 5
The Woodland Tigers held on to their lead in the bottom of the sixth inning for the win on Monday. Zach Connelly singled to center to lead off the Tiger offense, and was brought in by an out-of-the-park home run by Derek Michaud. The Eagles answered back with a single by Hunter Milliard who stole around the bases to score.     The Tigers scored two more in the third off a double by Matt Manter. Eagles Corey Moir singled and slugger M. Milliard hit one over the fence in the third and another in the fourth to take the lead. The Tigers came back in the top of the sixth starting with a single by Jessica Kovach.
S.W. Collins 21, Woodland Tigers 3
S.W. Collins rallied in the middle innings for their win over the Tigers on June 7. Matt Curry hit a grand slam and a two-run homer. Rebecca McDougal tripled, and Dayne Savage and Jeremy Miller each doubled. McDougal pitched a complete game with nine strikeouts.
Dylan Conroy tripled to lead the Tigers. Connelly struck out five and Conroy three for Woodland.
Sleepers 5, Police 2
Sleepers remained undefeated after the win over the Police on June 7. Pitcher Connor Thibeault kept the Police scoreless for the first three innings of play, and teammate Sara Huston finished off the game striking out seven while allowing three hits.
Breen Blackstone made a hit, Justin Ouellette had a hit and an RBI, and Brendan Cyr hit an RBI.
Austin Caverhill led the Police with three hits. Austin Griffeth posted an RBI double, and Tyler Dombroski added a hit. Griffeth, Michael Boone and Dylan Theriault each caught fly balls for key outs.
North Stars 9, Woodland Eagles 1
Jacob Bither, Jordyn Doucette and Kelsie Espling led the North Stars’ offense with multiple hits in their win over the Eagles last week. Doucette struck out 14 batters from the mound.
M. Milliard led the Eagle effort hitting one over the North Star’s scoreboard for a home run and hitting a triple. H. Milliard had two singles.
