Local squadron changes command

    CARIBOU — A change of command ceremony was held at the 33rd Squadron of the Maine Wing, Civil Air Patrol on July 18th, during which Captain David Barbosa assumed command from Major Richard Saucier. Having been in command for a year and a half, Major Saucier is stepping down from the position  but will continue as the deputy commander. Captain Barbosa is also the squadron’s safety officer and a mission pilot. The squadron is based at the Caribou airport and has 23 members.

    Civil Air Patrol, the official Air Force Auxiliary, is a nonprofit organization.
