CARIBOU — The 33rd Squadron of the Maine Wing, Civil Air Patrol is proud to announce the addition of three new members — Dr. Craig Small and Mary Welch, both of Caribou, and George Berube of Limestone. Captain Small is filling the position of medical officer for the squadron. Senior Member Welch is working with administration and Lt Berube will be assisting in operations.
Civil Air Patrol, the official Air Force Auxiliary, is a nonprofit organization. It performs more that 90 percent of inland search and rescue missions in the continental United States as tasked by the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center. Volunteers also take a leading role in aerospace education and serve as mentors to America’s youths through CAP Cadet Programs.
