The regular season is rapidly coming to a close for golfers from Caribou. The League Championship is slated for Thursday, Oct. 1 at JATO in Lincoln, while he state team championships are Oct. 10 at Natanis in Vassalboro. The following is a recap of recent regular season contests for the Vikings.
Presque Isle 163, Caribou 175 — At the par-36 Presque Isle Country Club Monday, the Wildcats (7-1) defeated Caribou (1-7).
The individual Caribou results were: Matt Kamm, 42; Reggie Rideout, 55; Ben Wyman (sophomore), 40; Caleb Chapman, 46; Lance Lamothe, 50; Ben Wyman (senior), 47; Derek Dufour, 62; and Corey Rideout, 55.
Old Town 187, Caribou 197 — At a match Sept. 23, Caribou played Old Town in Presque Isle. The individual Caribou (1-6) results were: Wyman (sophomore), 49; Kamm, 45; Lamothe, 52; Wyman (senior), 51; and Dustin Denbow, 54.
