FORT KENT — The stage at Fox Auditorium at the University of Maine at Fort Kent will come alive with winning “Voices in The Valley,” on Sunday, Nov. 22, beginning at 2 p.m. The holiday production features the talents of five past Aroostook Idol winners and several well-known performers from the St. John Valley Idol competitions over the years.

Five Aroostook Idol stars will headline a gala performance taking place at Fox Auditorium, University of Maine at Fort Kent, on Sunday, Nov. 22, beginning at 2 p.m. Idol winners participating in the event are, from left: Samantha Boutot (2006); Erin Buck (2008); Pamela Cyr (2009); Annie Charles (2007); and Renee Cavagnaro (2005). All proceeds from the special performance will benefit the United Way of Aroostook. Headlining the show will be Pamela Cyr, the current Aroostook Idol of Fort Kent, along with Caribou’s Erin Buck (2008); Limestone’s Annie Charles (2007); Samantha Boutot (2006) of Fort Kent and the first-crowned Aroostook Idol, Renee Cavagnaro (2005), also of Caribou. The five vocalists have been working for weeks on group production numbers as well as solo songs they will sing during the gala event.
“The United Way of Aroostook is both proud and pleased to be able to bring such a high level of talent from the region to the stage during the holiday season. We’re confident that those who attend this spectacular show will find this to be one of the best performances in Aroostook Idol history,” said Claudia Stevens, executive director of the United Way of Aroostook.
Tickets for the “Voices in The Valley,” event are $10 each and now on sale at all Aroostook County Key Bank branches.
