Residents team with organizations to keep holidays happy

    LIMESTONE — The Limestone Rotary Club has once again teamed up with the Limestone Knights of Columbus and, with the support of other organizations and friends, are doing their best to ensure that everyone in the Limestone/Caswell community has a very happy holiday season.      Through countless volunteer hours, these organizations and individuals will be providing “Christmas Baskets” to families and community members who might find themselves a bit short this season. The nationwide economic situation has affected many residents of Caswell and Limestone and this year, to ensure that the limited resources go toward those with the greatest need, those requesting a “Christmas Basket” are asked to complete an information sheet and deposit it into the specially marked boxes at the Limestone and Caswell town offices. Request forms may also be forwarded to local church leaders.
