WINNING LOGO

WINNING LOGO — Downtown Presque Isle’s winning logo was made public during Saturday’s Sesquicentennial Parade — a yellow, green and blue star representing the area’s agriculture and waterways. Created by Heidi Carter of Heidesign of Fort Kent, the logo was one of two images the public was asked to vote on earlier this year. The other design featured stars incorporated into a snowflake theme, reflective of the community’s many winter activities. The new logo will be used to promote downtown businesses and activities in the Star City.
