Tax filing season may be a few months away, but our Tax-Aide team in Caribou, also serving Presque Isle and surrounding towns, is already seeking volunteers who want to serve their community through the AARP Foundation’s Tax-Aide program.

Spending is out of control

Here we are, a nation nearly exhausted from the grinds of war — World War I, WWI, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, etc. — on the verge of WW3 with a national debt of some $33 trillion dollars, and what do we do?
