FORT KENT, Maine — Aroostook County ranks first in the nation for the number of COVID-19 cases per capita, according to data compiled by the New York Times.
COVID cases in Aroostook have risen by 141 percent throughout the past two weeks. The County is averaging 67 cases per day, 99 cases per 100,000 members of the population. Aroostook has a population of 67,055.
