On July 6, Candy Easton Gough held a Matter of Balance Coaches training at the Smoki Haulers Snowsled Club in Oakfield. Easton is the master trainer with the Aroostook Area Agency on Aging from Presque Isle.

On March 1, Joy Barresi Saucier, executive director for the Aroostook Area Agency on Aging, presented certificates of completion to an Oakfield group who completed the Matter of Balance program at Pine Grove Terrace.
Maine Credit Unions combat senior hunger
Recently, the Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger presented five checks for $1,000 each to Maine’s Area Agencies on Aging Meals on Wheels programs in recognition of National Older Americans Month.
ACAP helps seniors receive free food
Aroostook County Action Program (ACAP) is partnering with Aroostook Area Agency on Aging to help County seniors to enroll in the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP).
