UMPI exchange student receives national award

The University of Maine at Presque Isle announced that Raymond Feliciano Rodríguez, an exchange student who traveled from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, San German, to UMPI in Spring 2016 to study secondary education, recently received the Richard R. Bond Community Engagement Award by the National Student Exchange (NSE).

Gauvin scholarships target County youth

The 2017 Gauvin Scholarship application has officially been open for just over a month. Aroostook Aspirations Initiative (AAI) is offering as many as 43 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who live and are staying in Aroostook County for college.
