Police find SAD 1 elementary student threat not credible
Local law enforcement was informed of an alleged threat to school safety made by a student at the Zippel Elementary School and determined it was not credible.

These students in grades 3-5 from Zippel Elementary School in Presque Isle garnered grade level/school records or a top presidential award, or both, during fitness events held this fall as part of the physical education program.

Fifth-graders in Robin Norsworthy’s class at Zippel Elementary School recently collected donations for the Central Aroostook Humane Society shelter, and invited shelter director Betsy Hallett to the school for the presentation.
