Library plans busy July

MARS HILL, Maine — The Walter T.A. Hansen Library has announced plans for upcoming programs.

On Thursday, July 18, Roger Libby will presenting Explore the Night Sky at 6 p.m. Libby will share his knowledge about the constellations and will bring some telescopes.  

The third annual Alice in Wonderland Tea Party will take place on Saturday, July 27.  It is a magical, imaginary exciting place to drink all kinds of types of tea, goodies and paint the roses red. Contact the library for more details.

In addition, the summer Bikes for Books event is ongoing. Librarian Amber Wood reported seven young readers completed 15 hours of reading in the first week.
