Wildcats boys defeat Black Hawks

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Gage Letourneau became the second Presque Isle High School hockey player to score his 100th career point in the past month as the Wildcats rolled past Houlton-Hodgdon-Southern Aroostook-Katahdin, 10-3, on Tuesday.

Letourneau scored his 100th career point midway through the first period when he notched an assist on a goal by Colby Carlisle.

Connor Demerchant scored his 100th career point against Waterville/Winslow on Dec. 13.

“I’m very happy for Gage getting his 100th point,” Presque Isle coach Carl Flynn said. “He’s put in a lot of hard work to get to this point in his career.”

In addition, the coach added that fellow Wildcat Carlisle, who scored the goal which gave Letourneau his 100th point, is also just four points away from his 100th career point.
