SAGE cancels spring kick-off and courses

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The University of Maine system, which includes University of Maine at Presque Isle , has closed all their campuses for classes as of Friday. This ban on onsite classes includes Seniors Achieving Greater Education, a special program of UMPI.

SAGE announced on March 12 that it has cancelled the spring session completely, including the kick-off event scheduled for March 20.

As a result, SAGE will refund all course fees to those who have already registered for the spring session. Payments by credit card will be refunded with a credit issued to their credit card. A refund check will be mailed to those who paid by check.

As an alternative to the physical classes, SAGE will explore the possibility of having some online classes.  Check out SAGE-UMPI on Facebook for updates.
For more information, please contact the SAGE office at SAGEatUMPI@outlook.com or call 207.768.9501 and leave a message.  Calls will be returned as soon as possible.
