U.S. Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine recently spoke with a group from Presque Isle who traveled to Washington, D.C. through the SAD 1 Adult and Community Education program. During their visit, Collins answered questions from the group and discussed the current issues under consideration in the U.S. Senate. “It was a pleasure to meet fellow Mainers from Aroostook County and to welcome them to Washington,” said Collins. “These students ranged in age from their mid-30s to their early 70s, proving that lifelong learning is a positive experience.” (Courtesy of Office of U.S. Sen.
