Sympathy
Word has been received of the passing of 91-year-old Janet Fraser, in Vacaville, Cali., on June 27, at the Vacaville Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center where she spent the past two years. She was a Mapleton girl, one of eight children born to Frank and Annie Pelkey. After she married Earl Fraser, they moved to Easton where they lived and worked a 300-acre potato farm. She was a great cook and homemaker and loved spending time at their camp on Madawaska Lake. In 1975, they sold their farm and moved to Fairfield, Cali., where she lived for 30 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church there and spent long hours in her flower garden and enjoying her daughter and grandchildren. She leaves a son, Adrian Fraser and wife, Nicole of Easton, and a sister, Lois Brayall, of Caribou. Our sympathy goes out to them, and a son-in-law, Ken Nicholas. She also leaves grandchildren: granddaughters Elisabeth and Kathryn Nicholas of Fairfield, Cali.; grandsons Kenneth Nicholas of Rohnert Park, Cali., and Joshua Fraser of Presque Isle; great grandchildren Kenneth lll and Giovanni Nicholas of Woodland, Cali. She   was predeceased by her husband, Earl, and her daughter, Paula Nicholas, a brother and five sisters. A graveside service was held at Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery where her husband is buried.
