CCA to hold golf tourney Sept. 22

Cornerstone Christian Academy is holding its first Cornerstone Classic Golf Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 22 at Limestone Country Club.
The tournament is a three-person scramble format and is open to amateur golfers of all skill levels. The event begins with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. The entry fee is $75 per team. Individuals can also register for $25 and be placed on a team.     Prizes will be awarded to the top net teams, as well as closest to the pin and longest drive. There will also be a major prize offered for the first hole-in-one.
Only the first 40 teams will be accepted. Registration deadline is Sept. 1. Proceeds will benefit the CCA Scholarship Fund.
Cornerstone Christian Academy, which opened in the fall of 2006, is a non-denominational, independent Christian school serving the central Aroostook area and is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). CCA is a mission that is financially dependent on donations from private individuals and local churches, fundraising efforts and tuition. CCA is located at Family Christian Center on U.S. Route 1 in Presque Isle.
