WESTFIELD – William D. “Billy” Holmes, 40, a loving son and father, died unexpectedly on October 30, 2007 at his home in Westfield. He was born in Presque Isle on April 7, 1967, the son of Jarvis and Carolyn (Ryder) Holmes. Billy worked for Bell Farms in Mars Hill. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and collecting cars.
He is survived by his parents of Westfield, a son William Dale Jr. and a daughter Angel Dawn Holmes, both of Danforth; several cousins; many friends including special friends, Dave Littlefield, Les Smith, Pat Patterson and James Dumont.
Relatives and friends called 7-9 p.m. Friday at Duncan Funeral Home, 8 Main St., Mars Hill. A memorial gathering was held at noon Saturday at the United Baptist Church Mars Hill with Rev.
