PRESQUE ISLE – TRiO Upward Bound will be hosting an open house Wednesday, Dec. 19 from 1-3 p.m. in Preble Hall, Suite 16. The public is invited to attend.
Upward Bound was awarded $2.4 million in grant funding last spring which it will use over the course of four years to maintain three staffed offices – the University of Maine at Presque Isle, University of Maine at Fort Kent, and at the Houlton Higher Education Center.
The open house will showcase the new space paid for by the grant funding, which also allows the program to go from serving 69 students in 11 county schools to serving 119 students in all 16 Aroostook County high schools.
