    HOULTON – Margaret Mae Stevens, 79, died Dec. 14, 2007. Margaret was born Jan. 16, 1928, in Monticello, to Violet (Hallett) McCarron and Austin H. Jones.     Margaret is survived by her six children, Carolyn (Foster) Lamoreau and her husband, J. Rodney, of Castle Hill, David Foster and his wife, Patricia, of Littleton, Lawrence Foster and his wife, Candice, of Monticello, Steven Foster and his wife, Bonnie, of Houlton, Janine (Stevens) Murchison and her husband, Kenneth, of Caribou, and Michael Stevens of Bloomsburg, Pa.; 13 grandchildren, Kristen (Lamoreau) Murphy and her husband, David, Jay Lamoreau and his wife, Kelly, Lisa Lee, Tammy (Foster) Gisel and her husband, Glen Jr., Tabetha (Foster) Tuttle and her husband, Kevin, Christopher Foster and his wife, Tiffany, Tricia (Foster) Bragan and her husband, Spencer, Natalie Foster and special friend, Kyle Stanley, Alyssa (Foster) Schools and her husband, Ryan, Rachel and Gregory Foster, and Samantha and Alexander Murchison; 17 great-grandchildren, Jack Lamoreau, Elizabeth, Allison and Austin Gisel, Mary-Elizabeth, Paul, Jonathan, Benjamin, Matthew, Andrew, Nathan, Caleb and David Tuttle, Emma and Hannah Foster, and Miranda and Chance Bragan; cousins, Alta Paquette, Gloria Fulkerson, Sharon Weiss, William Hotham, and Linda Hallett; as well as several nieces and nephews; special friends, Mary-Lou Grass, Dottie Folsom, Gloria Lynds, Christina York, Dianne Phillips, Joan Targonski, Maxine Morris and Pauline Sager; and her Delmont Street area friends in Presque Isle. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her stepfather, Everett McCarron; her husband, Fred W. Stevens; and great-granddaughter, Caroline Tuttle.
    At this time there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton.
