OAKFIELD — Al Theriault has joined Katahdin Cedar Log Homes as a Regional Coordinator. Theriault was formerly with Kuhns Bros. Log Homes, served in various positions over the past 12 years. He started in representative support, then project manager in Missouri and North Carolina, followed by director of operations, and lastly with the construction arm of Kuhns Bros. in Virginia. He is well known and respected in the log home industry, serving as president of the Log Home Council in 2006.

After traveling the world in the Army for 26 years, which included two tours in Vietnam and seven years in the Pentagon, Theriault retired at the rank of colonel. He started in the log home business as a Katahdin dealer in Virginia in 1990, where he built his first Katahdin Cedar Log Home. He now resides in Fredericksburg, Va.
