NorState CEO David Rossignol presents a check to Ending Hunger Coordinator Augie Parent for distribution to the local food pantries. Funds of over $19,000 have been raised for use by local food pantries through the 2007 Ending Hunger Campaign.

Rossignol stated, “It’s always amazing how generous NorState’s members are towards our Ending Hunger cause and they are certainly the reason we are so successful in our fund-raising efforts. Many thanks go out to Augie Parent, our Ending Hunger coordinator; the entire NorState staff; the many local businesses who donate prizes for drawings; and of course our membership who make this happen.”
NorState’s Ending Hunger fund-raising is an ongoing annual effort with funds collected through employee dress-down days, raffles, donations and other events.
Rossignol went on to say, “The best part about all of this is that 10 local food pantries will soon receive an allocation of these funds during these relatively tough economic times.”
NorState FCU has donated in excess of $80,000 to local food pantries since 1998.
