Tournament broadcast schedules

    WHOU 100.1 FM will be broadcasting games throughout the Eastern Maine Class B-C-D Tournament from the Bangor Auditorium.     Today, Ken Holck and his crew will be airing the Houlton–Fort Kent girls’ Class C quarterfinal game, followed by the Presque Isle-Medomak contest at 2:05 p.m.
    On Thursday, WHOU will be broadcasting the Central Aroostook-Fort Fairfield boys’ Class D semifinal contest at 3:35 p.m., followed by the Central Aroostook Lady Panthers’ semifinal game against Woodland at 7:05 p.m. and in the nightcap, the Katahdin Lady Cougars will take on the Ashland Hornets at 8:35 p.m.
    Friday’s schedule will be dependent upon the Class C quarterfinal action. If the Houlton Shiretowners advance, the semifinal game will be announced at 3:35 p.m., followed by the Houlton Lady Shires, if they win their quarterfinal game, at 8:35 p.m. in the Class C semis.
    Saturday will be championship games starting at 9:05 a.m. with the Class D girls, followed at 11 a.m. by the Class D boys, if CAHS wins their semifinal.
    The Class B finals, if Presque Isle advances, will be broadcast at 3:45 p.m., and the day will wrap up with the Class C championships, if the Lady Shires advance it will be a 7:05 p.m. game, and if the Shiretowners advance, they will play at 8:45 p.m.

    Also, the Maine Public Broadcasting Network (MPBN) is scheduled to begin its 29th annual broadcast of the Maine Principal’s Association Invitational High School Basketball Tournament featuring courtside action from the Bangor Auditorium today, running through Saturday, March 1.
