The weekly meeting of TOPS 145 was held Feb. 20 at the Congregational Church in Island Falls.
We had 11 members weigh-in and ten attended our meeting.
Our person who lost the most weight for the week was Jackie Pratt, and runner-up was Dotty Rand. Great job, ladies!
Reports were given for the week by our secretary and treasurer.
Our leader Jackie Part led the program for the week. We had a five question quiz. We were surprised to learn that burger, and fries are better for you than a chef salad., also that we should have positive thoughts, like I can, and will lose weight.
Meetings are always interesting and we ended the program with Riva’s and Hilda’s jokes.
Please feel welcome to our group every Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. for weigh-ins and meeting starts at 9 a.m. Call 365-4884 for more information.

One of our ladies, Vicki Little, recently read an item on potatoes. She related that it is not the potatoes, but what is put on it.
The subject of the program as related by Kaye was yo-yo dieting. One needs to restructure to determine one’s goals; keep a food diary. Eat food to fit one’s lifestyle; seek support if the need arises. Wear a pedometer; if you can’t meet goal, don’t panic.
If you want information about the chapter, please call Charlotte Marley at 757-8483 or Betty Ivey at 532-9653.
Meetings begin at 9 a.m. after weigh-in at 8-8:45 when the weigh-in room is closed.
