6:40 a.m. Pioneer Avenue – Suspicious Activity – Male caller reported seeing a red Ford Taurus with two occupants, one of whom appeared to be ducking down and acting suspicious. The male caller thought it may be connected with recent car burglaries. Action – An officer stopped the vehicle and found they were delivering newspapers. There was no indication that they were doing anything else.
6:24 a.m. Hoover Avenue – Burglary of Motor Vehicle – Male caller reported someone had gone through the vehicles on his street, and that his neighbor had, had money stolen from his vehicle.
Action – The male caller’s neighbor came in and reported that $5-6 in change had been stolen, and nothing else was missing from the garage.
7:25 a.m. Hoover Avenue – Burglary of Motor Vehicle – Male caller reported someone had gotten into his vehicle and taken 10 CDs from his vehicle, and he saw tracks going to other driveways on the street.
1:18 p.m. Main Street – Snow Complaint – Male caller reported someone from the business next door was blowing snow and hitting their vehicles.
Action – An officer arrived on the scene, but the male caller had already spoken to the individual blowing snow, who had already switched directions.
2:31 p.m. Sperry Drive – Suspicious Person – Male reported seeing a suspicious person trying to gain entrance to a vehicle outside.
Action – No entrance was made and no damage was done. Officers checked the area, but didn’t locate anyone.
8:21 p.m. North Street – Harassment – Female caller reported her mother-in-law’s truck was in her driveway and she wanted something done about it.
Action – An officer advised that he would be right there, however the female caller called back three minutes later and said to disregard the previous call as she was going to the hospital.
4:36 a.m. Page Avenue – Snow Complaint – Caller reported a resident of Page Avenue was blowing snow onto the roadway on Court Street. The caller also mentioned that the resident had been advised not to do this in the past.
Action – An officer issued a written warning to the resident.
2:53 p.m. Access Highway – Motor Vehicle Complaint – Female caller reported that a male subject had just driven to her house and that he was intoxicated.
Action – An officer checked the area, but was unable to locate the male subject. The officer notified the Fort Fairfield Police Department.
11:10 p.m. Bennett Drive – Disorderly Conduct – Female caller reported that she had been assaulted by a female subject at a local bar.
Action – An officer spoke with the female subject, a male subject and the female caller’s boyfriend. The female subject reported that the female caller had been lying on a pool table, and was asked several times to move. According to the female subject the female caller tried to swing a glass at her, and she took the glass from the female caller and the male subject physically removed her. The statement was verified by the male subject and the female caller’s boyfriend.
8:20 a.m. Midland Street – Building Check – Female caller reported the door being open to a nearby residence. The female caller said she could hear music inside, but didn’t think anyone was at home.
Action – An officer checked the area, and found no one at home, so the officer closed the door.
11 p.m. Summit Avenue – Snowsled Complaint – Male caller reported a snowsled riding around in the parking lot, which he believed was not registered.
Action – An officer checked the area, but was unable to locate the snowmobile.
5:20 p.m. Bradley Street – Snow Complaint – Female caller requested an officer as her neighbor was blowing snow on her fence.
Action – An officer spoke with a male subject who said he had nowhere else to put it, but that he would have his snow hauled so as to avoid the problem.
6:22 p.m. Roberts Street – Criminal Trespassing – Female caller reported a male and female subject had shown up at her house, “drugged up,” and wouldn’t leave.
Action – An officer arrested the male subject for bail violation and also arrested the female subject for drug/alcohol use.
6:36 p.m. Caribou Street – Domestic – Female caller advised that the people next door were hollering and banging on the walls.
Action – An officer spoke to a male and female subject who were having an argument about cleaning. The officer advised that someone would check back the next day and if the situation were not fixed a referral would be made to DHHS.
2:45 p.m. Route 1 – Motor Vehicle Complaint – Female caller advised that a small pinkish colored car was making bad passes and weaving back and forth coming from Presque Isle.
Action – Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.
