Langley, Glenna Mavis, 81, Caribou, in Caribou, April 19, 2008. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday from the Chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.

 

    Caribou – Glenna M. Langley, 81, passed away peacefully, April 19, 2008 at her Caribou residence. She was born at Caribou, January 25, 1927, the daughter of Luther and Eleanor (Smith) Hewitt.  She was a graduate of the Caribou High School and was employed at the Caribou Nursing Home for a number of years. She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Lister-Knowlton Post 9389 VFW, the Henry B. Pratt Post 15 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary as well as the Caribou Lioness Club.
    She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law Jon and Gail Langley and Steven Langley all of Caribou and Gary and Sonja Langley of Cypress TX. Her twin sister Glenda Smith and her husband Donald of Caribou. Two grandchildren Jeff and Brent Langley and two great-grandchildren, Amelia and Dalton Langley. Several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Langley was predeceased by a son Robert in 1976, three brothers Floyd, Irvin and Jerry Hewitt and a sister Phyllis Pillsbury.
