PRESQUE ISLE – The St. John Aroostook RC&D Council’s next regular business meeting for Council members and guests will be held on Thursday, May 8, at the USDA Service Center, 735 Main St. The Executive Committee will meet at 9 a.m. and the business meeting will begin at 10 a.m.
The major topic of discussion for this meeting will be wind energy. An overview of Windustry’s Community Wind Energy 2008 Conference in Albany, N.Y., will be given and the St. John Aroostook RC&D’s role in local wind energy projects will be discussed.
