Caribou – Irene Mary Picard, 78, died May 16, 2008, at Van Buren. She was born at Van Buren, May 24, 1930, the daughter of Albert and Amanda (Levesque) Levesque.
Irene was educated in the Connor school system and was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Irene was a very devoted Catholic, who loved Jesus and dedicated herself to prayer and scripture.
She is survived by two brothers Addes Levesque and Lawrence Levesque both of Caribou; two sisters Edwina Van Ness of Buena Vista, Colorado and Alma Boucher of Colchester, CT and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother Joseph Levesque and two sisters Yvonne Ouellette and Hazel Levesque.
Family and friends were invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, 2:00 pm Monday, May 19, 2008 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Fr. Chanel Cyr, officiating. Interment will take place in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. For an online registery please go to www.mocklerfuneralhome.com
