    Last Friday, Houlton Aroostook Auto Glass was defeated 20-13 by visiting Island Falls.
    Mataya Hartin led Island Falls with two hits, while Lauren Rockwell, Sable Altvater and Kylie Dunphy (her first hit) each had a hit. Island Falls looked good defensively by turning a rare triple play.

    For Houlton, Kaitlyn Wiggins had four hits, while Tanika Toby and Mariah Boyd each added a pair of hits.
    Wiggins also pitched a strong game with 13 strikeouts.
    In Junior Little League on Friday, the Katahdin All-stars defeated Houlton Tire 6-2, in a game played at Dyer Brook.
     In a softball game that was played last Wednesday, Oakfield defeated Aroostook Auto Glass, 29- 26.
    Oakfield jumped out to a quick lead, 21-3 after four innings, before Aroostook Auto Glass came roaring back when Hill started off the fifth inning hitting a single, followed by Katie Condon’s double.         The Houlton team mounted a comeback, as they combined 13 hits in the last two innings, while scoring 12 runs in the fifth and 11 runs in the sixth inning to pull to within three runs.
    Oakfield’s offense was led by Megan Goodall with three singles and Jess Nye, who hit a single and an in-the-park home run.             Aroostook Auto Glass was led by Condon, who singled, doubled and tripled. Emma Drew added a single and a double, as Hill, Allix Hanson, Elizabeth Ward and Toby all singled twice.
    Last Monday’s  softball action, the Aroostook Auto Glass girls’ softball traveled to Oakfield, and picked up a 19-15 win.
    Wiggins, along with Hill each with three singles, while Condon doubled and singled.
    Goodall led the Oakfield hitters with a triple and single.
    In last Monday’s game under the lights in Junior Little League, Hogan Tire edged the Katahdin Valley All-stars, 18-17.
    The game was knotted at 17-all until Ricky Caron’s triple in the bottom of the seventh knocked in the winning run.
    Jordan Brown doubled twice and singled, while Isaac Flewelling singled twice.
    For Katahdin Valley, Patrick Goodall singled twice and tripled, while Taylor Locke singled twice.
