BANGOR – The Patriots nearly had their revenge over their home-opener loss against Bangor last Wednesday. The two teams swapped the lead several times before Bangor capitalized off two errors in the fifth inning for three runs and the final lead. The game ended 8-7 in Bangor’s favor.

Pat Thibodeau (Caribou) led offense with a double, single and three RBIs while Logan McLaughlin  (Mars Hill) singled twice and had two RBIs. Matt Chasse (Presque Isle) tripled and singled for the Patriots.
Brewer showed why they remain undefeated in their doubleheader with the Patriots on Saturday. Brewer took the first game 20-0 and the second 23-1.
In the first game, McLaughlin, Brennen Shaw (Presque Isle) and Kasey Brewer (Mars Hill) all singled, and Chasse doubled.
In the second game, McLaughlin, Joe Soucy (Fort Kent), Brewer and Matt Parsons (Presque Isle) all singled while Chasse doubled again. Ted Walker (Caribou) had the only RBI for the Patriots.
