Woodland and Washburn – Michael Wayne Donovan, 23, died unexpectedly July 19, 2008, at Washburn. He was born in Presque Isle, December 31, 1984, the son of Wayne and Marilyn (Belmain) Donovan. Michael attended the Woodland schools and was a graduate of Caribou High School. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, going for long walks and riding his four wheeler. Michael had a God given green thumb and loved to grow and care for plants.
He is survived by his mother and step-father Marilyn and Randy Swafford and his father and step-mother Wayne and Gail Donovan all of Woodland. His daughter and love of Michael’s life Alivian Nichole Harris Donovan. Two sisters and a brother-in-law Tressa and Timothy Philbrook and Kristie Donovan all of Caribou. His grandmothers, Elizabeth Belmain and Eva Donovan both of Caribou. Three stepbrothers Joshua Swafford, Christopher Espling and Chad Hamilton, Two step sisters Angela and Casandra Espling. Nieces and nephews Brandon, Jessica and Grace Donovan and Trevor Philbrook. Several Aunts and Uncles, and cousins. Michael was predeceased by his grandfathers Darrell Belmain and Loomis Donovan and a nephew Tristan Donovan.
Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Tuesday July 22, 2008, from Solid Rock Worship Center the with Rev. Myron Powell and Rev. David Sullivan officiating.
