The University of Maine at Fort Kent Summer Theatre will present two one-act plays, Des Jours Anciens and The Farmer’s Wife. The plays will be performed together as one evening of entertainment Thursday, July 31 at 7 p.m. in Fox Auditorium at UMFK.
During the evening performances, the cast will also perform a short musical prologue about the Acadian Deportation, entitled Derangement, a series of short musical vignettes that follow the path of the Acadians from France to the St. John Valley.
Admission is $5 for the general public and free for UMFK students. Both shows contain adult language in English and French, parental discretion is advised. For information, call 834-7893.
