On Wednesday, July 18, Mrs. Marie Gilloli and Miss Wannetta Townsend attended Senior Citizens at the Smoke Hauler Snow Club in Oakfield.
    On Friday, June 27, Chair Townsend of Jacksonville, Fla. was a caller on his cousins Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Glauenwhite, Miss Wannetta Townsend and Mr. and Mrs. Eli Crane.
On Saturday evening, June 28, Curt Tanjoy of Laheland, Fla., Mrs. Carol Carabella and Lyle Melcheel of Merider, Conn. were callers on their cousin Miss Wanetta Townsend. They were also callers on their aunt Mrs. Edith Hardy in Oakfield.
On Friday, July 4, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Spauge and Miss Wannetta Townsend were callers on his mother, Mrs. D. at Sprauge in Bridgewater.
On Tuesday, July 8, Mrs. Marie Gilloti, Mrs. Sandi Wyman and Miss Wannetta Townsend along with others Purple Hat Ladies Society had brunch at the home of Mrs. Peggy Sander in Smyna.
Mrs. Laura Price of Pern and Dalligetta Miss Kristin Price of Vermont were recent week-end guests of her brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sprauge. They were here to attend the retirement party for her sister Mrs. Sprauge at the Souldier Aroostook Community School. There was also a good town out for the supper and party.

Some people in the area attended the funeral on July 19 for Galen Porter in Island Falls.
On Sunday, June 29, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sprauge and Miss Wannetta Townsend were called on Pastor and Mrs. David Fox in Veizie. They also attended The Veizie Cont. Church. Also attending were Mr. and Mrs. Randy Emery and Mandy of Island Falls and Raechel Cole of Smyrna Mills.
On Saturday, July 19, there was a good town out for a benefit supper for Miss Lilie Anderson, who will be having surgery at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
