The Houlton United Methodist Church plans day of prayer

The Houlton United Methodist Church will host the National World Day of Prayer on Friday, March 6.
    There will be a welcoming coffee beginning at 10 a.m. at the church on Military Street, followed by a service from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. This service is being prepared by the women of Papua-Guinea.
All residents from Houlton and the surrounding areas are welcome to attend this special day of fellowship.
The United Methodist Church Pastor Naomi Sam-Kpakra will welcome guests.
Kaye Trickey, a member of the host church is in charge of special music for this event and Paula Lilley has organized the presentation of the service. Other services will be taking place all over the world. This event has been in existence for more than 100 years. Both men and women are encouraged to attend and you do not need to be a member of any particular church to participate in this day of prayer.
