Council 2524 Knights of Columbus in Presque Isle held their 10th annual Senior Citizens Banquet at their hall in Presque Isle on Feb. 18. More than 240 guests attended a turkey dinner prepared by chef Harold Soucey and his crew.
Members of the Knights of Columbus set up the hall and waited on the guests. The Old Timers, a local band, entertained while guests enjoyed their dinner. Games were played after dinner. Prizes for the games and door prizes were donated by several area merchants. Bob Cormier, master of ceremonies for the banquet, presented awards to the following, from left: Eldest Gentleman, Robert McHatten; Eldest Lady, Lillian Demerchant; Eldest Veteran, Jin Tweedie; and Longest Married Couple, George and Marjorie Leach.
