Cleo honored with treat
Cleo, a black and white spinster, resides in Mars Hill with her pet Mary “Mike” Carter. Cleo celebrated her 21st birthday on January 15 with a special treat of shrimp. Mike is a real cat person. Following the loss of her 17-year-old friend, Miss Puss, Mike was introduced to 1-year-old Cleo, who was looking for a new home. Cleo has lived with Mike for 20 years, waking Mike each morning with a kiss on the nose, although I’m told that Cleo is actually letting Mike know that her dish is empty! MEOW!
