A Snow Sled Fun Run, sponsored by Hodgdon High School’s class of 2010, will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at Hodgdon High School. Entry is $5.
All sledders must be back by 2 p.m. so prizes can be given out at that time. A participant doesn’t have to be present to win. The prize can be picked up at the school later in the week.
There will be lots of prizes donated from area businesses, parents and students, including jackets, $50, $20 and $10 gift and food certificates, homemade pickles (Lady Ashburnham, which go well with baked potatoes 200 pounds of russet bakers donated by Nightingale Farms, oil changes and knitting lessons to name a few.
There will also be free coffee/tea and muffins in the morning, with pizza for sale at noon. The gymnasium will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. If a parent leaves a child at open gym, organizers need to have information in case of emergency.
Stop in, have a coffee and buy a ticket, which can also be purchased from any Hodgdon High junior.
