Shipmates’ Playhouse advances to State Drama Festival

    THE PRESQUE ISLE HIGH SCHOOL SHIPMATES’ PLAYHOUSE has advanced to the State Drama Festival with its win at the Regional Drama Festival held March 6-7 at PIHS. The Shipmates presented a one-act adaptation of Beaumarchais’ “The Marriage of Figaro.”
Here, Dustin Graham (Basilio) and Kori Kinney (Susannah) perform a scene before the judges. The State Drama Festival will be held March 20-21 at Bangor High School. The festival is sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association and the Maine Drama Council.
