LIMESONE/CARIBOU — On Wednesday, March 25, beginning at 4 p.m., the Crown of Maine Chapter, of the American Society of Military Comptrollers, will uphold its long standing tradition of providing local high school seniors scholarships by selling “Hot and Ready” medium pepperoni pizzas for only $4.99, in conjunction with Big Cheese Pizza located at 556 Main Street, Caribou. Local citizens can walk-in off the street to pick up the ready-to-go pizzas from 4 to 9 p.m. The Crown of Maine chapter and the majority of its members, is located at DFAS Limestone, and has been in existence since 1997. The mission of ASMC is to promote education, training and professional development to all its members. This chapter is also very active in the community and provides yearly scholarships to high school seniors preparing for college through the Robert J. Poiesz Memorial Scholarship.
