To the editor:
As you’ve likely heard, on Tax Day, April 15th, there will be “Tea Parties” taking place across America to protest government spending. Our future generations will be saddled with a mushrooming national debt which is going to grow to $10 trillion in the next 10 years.
Locally, rallies will take place as follows: in Houlton at 10 a.m. at the George Washington statue in Market Square; in Presque Isle at noon at the intersection of Main and State streets; and in Caribou at 2 p.m. in front of the Post Office. We invite you to all three rallies to make your voice heard.
