The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife ATV Safety Course will be held on Saturday, June 13, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center. The course covers ATV operation, laws, landowner relations, first aid and other related subjects. The class is open to those 10 years-of-age and older. Children ages 10 to 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Participants receive certification upon completion of the course. There is a $5 cost, payable at the first class. Pre-registration is required.
Those planning to take the ATV course are encouraged to bring a bag lunch.
