PRESQUE ISLE – The Maine Board of Pesticides Control will meet at 8 a.m. Friday, July 10 at the Harley D. Welch Agricultural Center, Maine Potato Board Conference Room, located at 744 Main St. in Presque Isle.
The meeting will open with a public forum. Anyone interested in addressing the board with questions or concerns about any pesticide-related issue is encouraged to attend.
The Maine Board of Pesticides Control is the lead state agency for pesticide regulation. It is an administrative unit of the Maine Department of Agriculture, Food and Rural Resources, with policy decisions made by a seven-member, public board.
