Time to stand up for the potato industry

To the editor:
    As a former truck owner, retired, I am writing about eight or 10 Prime trucks a day from the state of Missouri, hauling the potatoes that are raised in Aroostook County, when our own truckers and truck brokers can’t get loads to make payments on their trucks and make payroll. 

    The County has enough trucks to meet all of McCain Foods’ needs.
    What are the potato board members and state representatives doing about this? Why not?
