PRESQUE ISLE – Merindy M. Day Taylor, 91, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2009, at Harbor Hill in Belfast. Merindy was born in Presque Isle on December 31, 1917, to Cleveland T. Day and Emma J. Beckwith.
She was predeceased by her three husbands: Harold McGuire, Glenwood E. Hull, and Franklin Taylor; brothers, Raymond Day and Norman Day with his wife Myrtle; and son, Harold C. Hull. She is survived by Judy Hull, wife of Harold; sons, Stephen, Franklin, Neil and wife Cheryl; daughters, Velma with husband Larry Kinsley and Nancy with Rodrick Perkins. She also leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 33 great-grand-granchildren. Merindy enjoyed her dog Tansy Melody, sewing, crafts, gardening and visits with her family and friends.
